About Us

Mission

To provide personalized end-of-life care to terminally ill patients and their families, in order that they have the best possible experience for their remaining life, with a focus on the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of a culturally diverse community

Vision

Every patient is an individual. No two patients require identical end-of-life care. Families are different as well. New Beginnings Hospice is dedicated to excellent physical care as well as the social and emotional needs of the whole person. Trust between hospice staff, the patient, and their family is considered an essential part of this profound experience.

What is Hospice?

Hospice is end-of-life care for any patient who has received a prognosis of six months or less, and those with terminal illness who desire to focus on symptom management instead of aggressive treatment. The loving care team at New Beginnings will help you through your illness and make sure you have the best quality of life for the time that remains. Our skilled nurses and hospice aides support patients’ medical needs, keeping patients safe and comfortable, while our social workers and spiritual counselors provide pastoral care and bereavement services to patients and their families. We work with caregivers to help alleviate stress, and provide grief counseling for those left behind.

Who Pays for Hospice?

Hospice services are usually covered by Medicare and Medicaid. Some patients choose to pay privately. Medical equipment and hospice-related medications are covered 100% under hospice care.
